Getting "MODBROS MONITORING SERVICE NOT RUNNING"

Hello,

I tried to use the application but run into this issue… no matter what I do it wont show any data and just show this message “MODBROS MONITORING SERVICE NOT RUNNING”.

Tried reinstall, run as admin, restart… nothing worked. services.msc also does not show a running task.

Any ideas?

Could you open the services list again and check if a ‘ModBros Monitoring Service’ is listed in there and whether its running?

Also you are running Windows 10 right?

It seems that the cause might be the name of my user. It has a special character in it (&). When running the service with admin rights through CMD it worked.

Maybe you can reproduce it when you use special characters in your folder structure.

Yeah I've tried with a separate user using spaces and also special characters but for me the installation was fine.
We're looking into it tough as this issue has come up multiple times now.
