It seems if you have custom sensors and shared memory enabled in HWInfo64, and ModBros running, it crashes HWInfo64.
All the details and steps to reproduce can be found in that thread, including some comments from the developer or HWinfo about what the problem might be.

Alright, update: I've been able to reproduce and also fix the issue. More technical details over there in the HWiNFO forum.
This fix will be included in one of the next MoBro updates :)
