I have been having nothing but issues with my mobro set up recently. I had to do a full wipe of my computer because of an unrelated issue and therefore decided to do a refresh on my Pi Zero that I run mobro on. I tried multiple times to get it to work over wifi like I had it before and for the life of me it wouldn't connect no matter what I did. So then I decided to try out the USB option, I bought an internal USB header to USB-A adapter as well as a normal USB-A to micro-USB and all I get is a (Port Reset Failed) error for my troubles. Downloading and trying to push an RNDIS driver onto the connection does nothing either, I really liked my mobro when it worked but I'm about at my wits end here.
