It's finally time and we feel confident enough to hit that release button. So as promised, the current MoBro preview version is now publicly available to download.

So here's (finally) a long overdue update on the development status of the new MoBro app. We already implemented some major components and new features of the targets we outlined in the last post. Unfortunately some are still missing..

As some of you may have noticed, there haven't been a lot of updates to the app in the past months. But that is not because we've stopped development. On the contrary, we've been working on some major stuff in the background. Now with this post, we want to actually take the time and explain in detail where MoBro is headed and what's to come in 2022.

V12.3 of our MoBro image adds full support for the new Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. Alongside we also added a new simple way to set the resolution for connected HDMI displays.

Beta11 features a new improved dubbadhar theme with better performance and various bugfixes. Here you can find a list of what has changed in the new version of MoBro.

V12 of our Raspberry Pi image is more than just a minor bugfix release. There are also some quite big changes and new features which we will outline for you here.

HWiNFO recently released its new major version, which also brings a few changes that impacts its use alongside MoBro. We will take a closer look and summarize the current situation.

The time has come! We are going to build our very first community theme! What’s that you ask? Well, we decided, that its time that you guys strain your brains because we know that a lot of you are extremely creative from what we have seen and heard in the last couple of years.
