First I'd like to say this app is awesome. Until now I was using the Pitikapp app to turn my old tablet into a monitoring screen for my PC. but this one is much more polished and allow better/easier/deeper customization and directly from the PC.
There is though a few draw backs that I've noted and I'm wondering if might be implemented in the near future.
Android device auto wake/sleep. This is my n°1 concern as it avoids having to switch on and off both PC and tablet every time. On Pitikapp, you can set it so the tablet's screen wakes-up when it connects to the PC (so when you turn on the PC if the server app is set to startup with windows). And when it gets disconnected (when shutting down PC), it lets the screen turn off normally.
Addition of an audio source switch/button and/or current source visualisation. It is good to be able to change volume or play/pause. But often gamers need to switch from headset to speakers or vice versa, and using the build in way isn't as practical as flicking a switch. Especially if you already launched a game or Fullscreen soft. Even just being able to see if you are set to one or the other helps quickly identify the issue without having to run through → why am I not hearing anything ? → Wait, I need to go back to desktop and check the audio output. Pitikapp allows this and it has been a tremendous help for me. Very practical on a daily basis.
Dark load screen This goes with the 1st point for a “flawless” setup. When the app connects to the PC, it shows a white screen for a few seconds. If it was possible for this “loading” screen to be black, it would make to connection with the PC much more subtle and flawless. Maybe along the implementation of a dark mode ? This is a detail but the app is so great already that I feel with minor adjustments like this it could really be the ultimate monitoring app for anyone, being both practical and flawless in its daily use.
Other than those elements, Great job to the team, and looking forward to the minor improvements this app could get to go from great to the ultimate app for all PC gamers and enthusiasts !
