Linux version now that its getting more users

i only found a closed discussion from 5 years ago, so now that more people is migrating with linux is there a possibility to have the app there. i wanted to use it on linux myself as i'm trying cachy and have already configured a RPi to monitor wirelessly from windows and would like to share and continue using it as i havent found a similar app for linux S.O

Yes, we did have plans to make it work on Linux. But the reality is just that we are limited on available time we can put into the development of MoBro. 
There were just always other features and issues that had a higher priority. Also unexpected urgent topics keep popping up as well and take up considerable amount of time and effort to resolve (like the winring0 issue just recently). While our tech stack generally supports Linux, there are just many details (like the installer) that would need some adjusting, proper testing etc. to work in Linux.

And its not even just MoBro itself. Almost all of our current plugins only work on Windows. There is no Hwinfo or Librehardwaremonitor on Linux. So we'd have to implement new dedicated Linux plugins as well.. 

I'm not saying we will never do it, but right now I'm afraid this is just too much additional effort..
